Ways to Get Your Name Out There

This may take you some time to go all the way through but we can promise these are some great ways to help get your name out there. Some may cost you a little money and some will not. Let’s get started on ways to get your name out there…

  • Fishbowls: Fishbowls are when you call, mail, or go to a salon, gyms, store, etc. and ask if they would allow you to leave a fishbowl, a framed flier, and entry forms on their counter for 2 weeks. You will need to purchase a gift certificate from their store to raffle off. To really boost your business you could also add a free product from our product line.
  • Make up goody bags! Spend a few bucks and do this! Keep these on you at all times. Use a hole punch to put a hole in your business card. Use a ribbon to tie a candy to it.
  • Go to Flea Markets, Amusement Parks, Movie Theaters or even the mall and hand business cards to people. Always ask for permission before doing this. We don’t want anyone to get banned from a property.
  • Go door to door in a “high income” area or your own area and give out coupons, business cards, or goody bags.
  • Sponsor a Bingo!
  • Donate a Bling Basket for Charity Causes!
  • Donate a Bling Basket to a Penny Sale!
  • Watch the newspapers for upcoming local events! Call around and ask if they have a jewelry rep for the event. If they don’t, book it!! With Carolina Country Bling there CAN be multiple affiliates as each affiliate may carry different items. You know our product sells themself. All you have to do is show up and show them off.
  • You will see Churches, Fire Stations, Women Alliances, Singles Dances, etc. doing fundraisers. Just call them and ask if they would like to receive a Bling Basket or one of our other products to be donated for a raffle. Will it cost you money? YES. However, you make it LOUD and CLEAR where the item(s) came from because you will deliver it, and the basket of item(s) will have your information on it too!
  • Call a local HOT Club, and ask if they would allow you to drop off some goodies for dance contests, karaoke contests, or just to give out to their customers. They can’t just be business cards or fliers… they have to be giveaway type products, etc. The DJ can say, “Courtesy of “your business name”.
  • Don’t forget to do FREE LUNCH DRAWINGS! Ask a local restaurant or café if you can again place a fishbowl for a FREE LUNCH DRAWING to their establishment courtesy of “your business name”. You can give the weekly winner $10 gift certificate. But the whole time your company name is being read by HUNDREDS of people!
  • Get Small Window Clings made and ask small country stores, Laundromats, deli, tattoo parlors, salons etc. if you can place your window clings in their window for 30 days and you will buy a gift certificate from them.
  • When school is in session, reach out to teachers and staff to help reach your sales goals. Ask about setting up in the teachers lounge or even having a ‘Shop for Parents Day” when the holiday season is approaching. Talk with the PTA leader about doing a fundraiser. The possibilities are endless here.
  • Get bumper stickers made, and hand them out to people. Ask managers at stores to give them away in bags. Put them everywhere! PLEASE DO NOT stick these on peoples vehicles.
  • Start a Fundraiser! This is a great way to give back and get your name out there. 3 of our favorites places to do fundraisers are local schools, churches and Fire-stations.
  • Those of you that stay at home or work part time. Spend some time at fast food places that have those playhouses. Or take the kids to the local park for some play time. Have a shirt made with your business information on it and wear it. Why not spend some time with the kiddos, meet other local parents, advertise a bit, hand out a piece of bling or business cards.
  • Find Yard Sales, and offer them a free gift to pass out your business card for you!
  • Write a PRESS RELEASE announcing your business to your community – all newspapers have to print them for free!
  • Make up a flier about your business. Then ask different business owners if you may put one up. Don’t forget some of the important places to put fliers.
