Okay! Grab a notepad and start listing everyone you know to help you get your business going. List as many as you can under each category. Here are some suggestions to get you started:
• Family – Mom, Sisters, Aunts, Nieces, and don't forget those distant cousins you haven't seen
since the reunion!
• In-laws – your spouse's family, etc.
• Friends
• Co-workers from your current and PAST jobs
• Spouse's co-workers – past and present
• Your beautician, hairstylist, manicurist and masseuse
• Other salons – explain what you do and ask to put out cards at their front desk
• Daycare center staff and babysitters
• Neighbors – past and present
• Moms of your children's friends – at the park, 4-H Club, Scouts, soccer, baseball, hockey,
basketball, etc.
• Children's tutors for music or special classes
• Friends from volunteer work
• Friends from clubs
• Friends from your spouse's sport team
• The bank teller
• The cashier at your grocery and department stores
• Your dentist or doctor and their staff
• Health club, gym, or spa members
• Waiters, waitresses, and bartenders
• Your newspaper person
• Your mail carrier
• Acquaintances from your sports teams – golf, softball, volleyball, etc.
